"My life is a PIE and so is yours. You make choices every day based on your values and priorities. You aim to be happy, to live in joy, to be deliciously satisfied in the work that you do and the life you lead. Let’s talk about your PIE and how you slice it."
About Tara FosterHelping other professionals discover the natural gifts and talents that make them powerful, the ways they can use that strength to move barriers, and how they can achieve a life of success as they define it is my mission.
If you are single and starting your career, a spouse with a career, a young parent with a corporate job, or a working parent of school-aged children, I can identify! Male or female, perhaps the demands are different but the goals remain the same. The goal of my practice is to help you define what success looks like, identifying and eliminating roadblocks, and the creating a practical path to achieve your goals. We all want the most out of our lives. We know what it means to work hard for success, to achieve it, and then to wonder if "this" is what it will be like for the next 20, 30, 40 years. Perhaps you feel disconnected from goals you once thought so clear, feel stuck in your job, blocked from the top floor, not even sure you even wanted to get there anymore. After twenty years of working hard to climb the ladder, I realized that the intersection of what I liked doing and what I was good at doing looked different than the work I did very day. I wanted more: more meaning, more impact, and more fulfillment more of the time. Life can be like a pie, carefully made with the finest ingredients, baked to perfection, and sliced by the choices we make. Sometimes we get caught trying to put 9" deep-dish filling in an 8" shallow shell and we wonder why it doesn’t look appetizing anymore. Impossible. Overflowing. Messy. Shifting away from a successful career in corporate America has allowed me to live out the conversation that exists somewhere between Leaning In and Not Having it All. Applying past experience, successes gained and lessons learned, I provide guidance as others work to find what will fulfill them in work and life, helping leaders use their innate talents and gifts to move barriers and achieve their next levels of success. |
